Street Library Supporter Kristy (@luckyloot2024 on Twitter) is using her Street Library books to raise funds for the PDSA.

The People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals (PDSA) is the UK‘s leading veterinary charity, providing free and low-cost veterinary care to sick and injured pets whose owners can’t afford private treatment, with the goal of keeping people and pets together.

With 49 Pet Hospitals throughout the UK, PDSA treats over 4,700 pets daily (performing around 270,000 treatments annually), including surgeries, consultations, and preventive care like vaccinations and neutering.

The charity focuses on education, prevention, and treatment to promote pet wellbeing, offering advice on topics like nutrition, behaviour, and seasonal hazards.

PDSA relies entirely on public donations, legacies, retail shops, and fundraising for funding.
