Street Library Supporters Tracey (@TraceyT80651091 on Twitter) and Julie (@joolz05 on Twitter) are using their Street Library books to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation (BHF).

The British Heart Foundation (BHF) is the UK’s leading charity dedicated to funding research into heart and circulatory diseases (including conditions like heart attacks, strokes, vascular dementia, and risk factors such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol).

The British Heart Foundation supports groundbreaking scientific studies; provides information and care for those affected; advocates for better policies; and promotes public awareness to prevent these diseases (which kill one in four people in the UK – equivalent to someone every three minutes).

The BHF has marked significant progress this year –  committing over £100 million to more than 200 new research projects across 47 organisations, with bold strategies to reverse declining heart health trends – the worst start to a decade in 50 years.
