Barcelona to Madrid. AVE.
AVE (Alta Velocidad EspaƱola) are the highspeed trains in Spain, travelling at speeds of up to 310 km/h in comfort, on the second-longest highspeed train network in the world (after China).
The journey from Barcelona to Madrid takes just 2 hours 30 minutes in the non-stop trains (there are also “stopping” trains which take just over 3 hours).
