Breathe Easy is the support network of Asthma + Lung UK (formed when Asthma UK merged with the British Lung Foundation in 2022), and provides mutual support to all people with lung disease, plus their family and carers, aiming to provide information and the opportunity for people to mix and make new friends. Each support group is run by volunteers and there are no membership fees.

Meeting on the first Tuesday of every month (between 2pm and 4pm) in the St Faith Centre, Horsham St Faith’s (Norwich NR10 3LF), the Norwich Breathe Easy support group is somewhere for patients and carers, from all sections of the Norwich community, to share experiences in a supportive social setting.

Monthly speakers include Respiratory Consultants, Specialist Nurses, a Physiotherapist and Pharmacist.

Additionally, there is also a free-to-attend singing group, held on the last Tuesday of every month (at 1pm in the Willow Centre, Cringleford, NR4 7JJ). No experience is necessary, and all music and lyrics are provided. Refreshments are also available.

For details of both the monthly support group, and the monthly singing group, contact Paula Browne (tel. 07768 376771, or via email at paula.browne@nnuh.nhs.uk).
