Accessible Alton Towers Resort
The Alton Towers Resort is made up of three parts: The Alton Towers Theme Park; The Alton Towers Waterpark; and the wider Alton Towers Resort.
Alton Towers, in conjunction with Nimbus Disability, have created the “Ride Access Pass” for wheelchair using visitors who are unable to queue for lengthy periods.
IMPORTANT: Ride Access Pass applications must be submitted online at least SEVEN DAYS in advance of your visit.
The Ride Access Pass allows disabled visitors to enter each ride by a dedicated entrance. To avoid this very useful Ride Access Pass being misused though, all applications are assessed by the team at Nimbus Disability (hence the need for seven-days notice).
For detailed information on the accessibility of all aspects of Alton Towers Resort, see the AccessAble accessibility guide: https://www.accessable.co.uk/alton-towers-resort/
Accessible Parking at Alton Towers Resort
36 Blue Badge parking spaces are available in the Express and Disabled Car Park which is located near the main entrance to the Alton Towers Theme Park.
To guarantee entry, Alton Towers advise pre-booking your disabled parking online in advance of your visit, as available spaces will be allocated on the day, on a “first come first served” basis.
Parking charges apply to all Alton Towers visitors though (including Blue Badge holders).
