Celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the birth of Jane Austen, the official opening of the Jane Austen Festival starts with a spectacular Grand Regency Costumed Promenade through the centre of Bath.
Led by the Jane Austen Centre’s very own town crier, stroll through beautiful Bath for approximately 1 hour.

This is a Regency costume mandatory event. To take part you must purchase a wristband and be in Regency attire. If you arrive without a suitable Regency outfit you may be asked to leave the promenade, as it spoils the “Georgian Bath” illusion of this event.
Wristbands on sale from Friday 25th April at 13.00 BST.
