Set just back from the beach in Ayr, the Horizon Hotel is the only hotel on the seafront – enjoying views of Ayr Beach, and over the Firth of Clyde to the magnificent Isle of Arran.

Yes. The Horizon Hotel has its own car park (with lighting and security cameras).
Entrance – Access
The main entrance is normally reached via a flight of 5 steps. However, there is a wheelchair accessible ramp here too. And there is direct access from the car park to the wheelchair accessible entrance ramp.
Building Accessibility
Both of the accessible rooms at the Horizon Hotel are on the ground floor. However, there is also a lift to the upper floor.

There are two wheelchair accessible bedrooms in the Horizon Hotel.
Wheelchair Accessible Toilets (Public Areas)?
Yes. There are accessible toilets on both the ground floor and also on the first floor of the Horizon Hotel. The accessible toilet on the first floor can be accessed via a lift.
Wheelchair Accessible Cafe/Restaurant
The restaurant at the Horizon Hotel is called “Vista” – and once you see the amazing views from the restaurant, you’ll understand where the name comes from.
The restaurant is fully wheelchair accessible, and there is easy access to a wheelchair accessible public toilet here too.
