If the steam train is running on the day you travel, take the steam train between Shin-Yamaguchi and Tsuwano; and from Tsuwano, continue on the regular JR West train to Masuda.
You’ll need to reserve your seats on the steam train in advance via any KR West railway station, or by telephone (+81(0)570-00-2486).
