Around The World by Train. Journey #10 (of #224). The Settle – Carlisle Railway.

Carlisle to Leeds: Settle – Carlisle Line

The Settle-Carlisle Line crowns the rail landscape of England. With the spectacular Ribblehead Viaduct being the jewel in that crown.

Chartered steam trains occasionally travel along this rather magnificent line too. Check the official Settle – Carlisle Railway website for details of any upcoming events.
