Around The World by Train. Journey #24 (of #224).

Lisbon to Porto by train.

The line between Lisbon and Porto is served by both Alfa Pendular trains (Portugal’s highspeed tilting trains), and the slower, and less expensive, Intercidades trains. The journey takes just under 3 hours on the faster Alfa Pendular trains (and just over 3 hours on the slower Intercidades).

Three hours spent relaxing while the majestic Portuguese countryside passes by on one side of the train, and the Atlantic Ocean rolls by on the other.
