Edinburgh to Newcastle upon Tyne: East Coast Main Line (Part 1).
To complete a circuit of Scotland by rail, simply return to Glasgow by train from Edinburgh Waverley.
However, to continue on this “round-the-world by train” route, head south to England on the East Coast Main Line, crossing the magnificent Royal Border Bridge at Berwick upon Tweed. On LNER’s new Azuma train!
