Donostia (San Sebastian) to Hendaia (Hendaye) by train. Euskotren (Day 2).

The Euskotren journey continues from Donostia (San Sebastian) to Hendaia (Hendaye in French) on the Spain-France border, where the Eukotren train terminates. The line between Donostia (San Sebastian) and Hendaia / Hendaye is colloquially known as “El Topo” (“The Mole” in Spanish) due to the numerous tunnels along the line (expect to spend a wee bit of time below ground).

Once at Hendaia / Hendaye, just 35 minutes later, it is a very simple change onto a French SNCF train (simply walk a few metres to the SNCF station where you can buy tickets).
