FareShare supplies food to almost 11,000 foodbanks, frontline charities and community groups throughout the UK – via a network of 24 regional distribution centres.
Possibly feeding the most vulnerable people in your very own local community. Help that is now more vital than ever.
The food that FareShare distributes is nutritious and in-date. It reaches local charities across the UK, including school breakfast clubs, older people’s lunch clubs, homeless shelters, and community cafes. Every week they provide enough food to create almost a million meals for vulnerable people.
The 24 FareShare Regional Centres, and a showcase of the work that they do:
Central and South East Scotland (Cyrenians)
East Midlands (Diocese of Leicester)
Glasgow & The West Of Scotland (Move On)
Greater Manchester (EMERGE 3Rs)
Hull & Humber (Goodwin Development Trust)
Lancashire & Cumbria (Recycling Lives)
Sussex (City Gate Community Projects)
Volunteers (for a variety of roles) are needed in all of these regional centres. Where a suitable volunteer position is not currently available, your details will be recorded on a waiting list, and you will be contacted when that position becomes available.
