Street Library Supporter Jane (@montycat16 on Twitter) is using her Street Library books to raise funds for Dementia UK.
Dementia UK is the UK’s specialist dementia nursing charity, dedicated to providing life-changing support and advice to families affected by dementia through its network of Admiral Nurses (experienced dementia specialists who offer practical and emotional guidance via a free helpline, clinics, and community services).
With over 450 Admiral Nurses across the UK, Dementia UK addresses the needs of the estimated 944,000 people living with dementia in the country, where cases are projected to rise to 1.6 million by 2040.
Dementia UK is funded primarily by public donations, legacies, corporate partnerships, and fundraising events.
