WARNING: Taking part in charity fundraising events might put your self-esteem through the roof.
I had so much fun when fundraising before (£1,100 and counting), that I just don’t want it to stop.
However, the arrival of my wheelchair now makes this a wee bit harder, so watching you do it instead will just have to do for now (although once I get used to wheeling around, I expect that my fundraising will start again).
So, for the time being at least, I’ll be taking part in these charity events through you – by seeing & sharing your photographs (and as I’ll be sharing them with over 25,000 followers on social media, the exposure for you could be rather substantial).
And, hopefully, by showing other people just how much fun that they are missing out on, I’ll encourage them to get involved in future charity fundraising events too.
Because, as well as being so beneficial to the self-esteem of all involved, charity fundraising events are just SO much fun!
