#BigBookGiveaway – “On Hold” for now.

Sadly, if I catch this virus I’m very likely to be one of the casualties.

So until a #COVID-19 vaccine is available, or until an effective treatment becomes available before then, then my only option is not to be infected in the first place.

And that means “shielding” (totally avoiding any personal contact where possible).

The initial advice is to do this for TWELVE weeks. However, the reality is that this shielding will continue until a vaccine has been developed, mass-produced and administered – which could be 12-18 MONTHS!

This is NOT a complete cancellation though. I still have loads of books to give away. And I’m still hoping to take part in the Edinburgh Kiltwalk in aid of FareShare in September (@FareShareUK on Twitter) .

So, with a bit of luck, I’ll still be able to give the books away before September as planned.
